Publishing as a DVD movie

Publishing as a DVD movie allow you to show your presentation on TV using a standard DVD player. Flash Demo Builder allows you to put multiple presentation into a DVD disc. You have options to either play the presentation one after another or have a DVD menu. The resulting DVD will play exactly the way you preview the presentation with all its animation/video/sound.

Publishing a DVD requires you to save the currently edited presentation. It will automatically asked you to do so if you have not.

 

1. Selecting project file(s) to publish

 

Use the Add/remove button to add/remove project to be made into a DVD. Use the up and down arrow at the upper right corner of the window to reorder the presentation.

By default, the currently edited presentation is added to the list.

 

2. Video system

 

Select a video system (PAL/NTSC) and a display size (4:3 or a widescreen 16:9 TV).

 

3. DVD Menu

 

Flash Demo Builder allow you to add a DVD menu to show all available presentation for viewer to choose for playback.

 

Check Have DVD menu to enable this feature and click Setup button to go to the menu layout editor to change its layout/background/thumbnails/etc.

 

4. Safety Zone

 

Most TV have an invisible margin called a safety zone. A DVD movie area outside this margin will not be visible. To make sure that the presentation is fully visible within the safety zone margin, Flash Demo Builder allows you to precisely specify the margin.

 

Click Setup button to open the Safety Zone Editor.

 

Click OK button to start making the DVD.
